Welcome to the Laelith Open Licence

The Laelith Open Licence defines how you can use, modify, and share the content and the trademark of the Laelith Intellectual Property for both personal and commercial purposes.

Undertanding the Pieces

There are three main components to distinguish in the Laelith work:

• The Intellectual Property is the core content created collectively by the Laelith authors and contributors since 1985, including the settings, characters, and stories. This content is available under the Laelith Open Licence as a CC-BY 4.0 license.
• The Trademark, i.e. the “Laelith” name, which is also part of the Open Licence but subject to some restrictions and conditions - read the licence for more details.
• The texts written by the authors and contributors, especially the ones in the base book of the BBE edition published in French in 2020. Some of these texts are available under a CC-BY 4.0, while others are not. See this page [link] for details.
